The Making of the Sawdust Products

We use mycelium, (the root structure of fungi) to bind sawdust into solid forms. Mycelium grows by sending out tiny thread-like fibers called hyphae. When it is mixed with sawdust, it starts to grow through and around the particles, effectively acting like a natural glue. Over time, the mycelium forms a dense network that holds the sawdust tightly together.

Once the structure is fully formed, we stop the growth by drying the material. This kills the mycelium and locks everything in place, leaving a lightweight, strong, and biodegradable product. The entire process is natural, low-energy, and doesn’t require synthetic adhesives or high heat. It’s a sustainable way to turn waste materials like sawdust into functional, eco-friendly products.
