About Us

I started Forest Living as a way to add value to sawdust that was going to waste in my family business, and many other factories across the country. What started out as a way to reduce the amount of sawdust we were burning and disposing of, turned into a mission to produce high quality products from the sawdust of similar high quality pieces. I wanted it to be sustainable as a way to help the environment as much as I could, so that's why you'll see all of our sawdust products are bound together with mushroom roots and not harmful glues.
