Why this isn’t made from sawdust
We love turning sawdust into materials, but we’re also honest about where that material shouldn’t go. Knife edges, constant washing and raw food need something tougher and more water-resistant. That’s why we use bamboo here: it’s hard, stable and better suited to heavy kitchen use, while our sawdust composite shines in coasters, trays and furniture.

Materials & care
Made from solid bamboo with a smooth, sanded finish. Hand wash and dry after use, avoid soaking or dishwashers, and refresh occasionally with a food-safe oil when the surface looks dry. Treated well, your Forest Kitchen Board will stay part of your daily cooking ritual for years.
